Paid Advertising

Paid Advertising

Paid advertising is one of the BEST resources to push your business forward online. It can also be very expensive if you are not careful in its use! We would like to tell you about a magical, low-cost way of online advertising that reaps huge rewards but our team hasn’t found it yet. Although there are some very good low-cost resources (which we have included), you better learn quickly about paid advertising quick if you are to survive!

We will look at some low-cost business advertising resources first and then get into the higher cost sources as well. You will have to determine what your budget will allow and the market that you can afford to go after.

ASD -is one of our favorite resources. They have a very unique earning plan on top of advertising with their service. They have also committed themselves into reaching out globally (Spanish & Chinese) sites are already online and they will be adding more as they grow. Ad packs start as low as $10 but we recommend starting with at least $20 due to the business structure.

Blast 4 Traffic - a great Safelist program with a One-time only fee to join of $34.50 (as of July 2008). Because you have multiple email capabilities and you are a life-time member, we use this site daily!

iPostAd -is a $24.95 monthly charged program but they do have discounted specials to look for and is a solid program to use.

Herculist - one of my original programs that I still use today. You can start as a free member or upgrade which I highly recommend!

Google Advertising

This is usually the scariest and most costly online advertising resources around IF you blindly place ads. One of the biggest concerns we heard from talking to business owners is the cost involved with competing online with advertising in their niche. Yes, this is very true. Especially if you are competing with large businesses!

The trick, or catch, is to find keywords within your business niche that you don’t see too much online. It takes research, time and an effort on your part to get this done but it can make a huge difference in how your business does. New entrepreneurs especially have a limited budget on what they can afford to spend on paid advertising so you want it to be efficient!

Adwords - is Google’s advertising mecca. Reaching millions of potential customers or prospects with this online advertising resource is the “Top Dog”! Their ad states “Only $5 To Start”, but you better have the ONLY keyword being used to maximize profits at that price.

Utilize Google AdWords Tutorials to learn how to use this resource effectively!

AdWords Guidelines

1. Avoid large, generic keywords to bid on such as “Tennis” due to the highly competitive nature and bids.

2. Use your niche keywords! If you haven’t already joined SBI!, you can still use certain tools that SBI! Owners have access to by joining. This gives you the tools to research and create the niche and related keywords to propel your business!

SBI! Tools

3. Track your ad campaign so you know your (ROI) Return On Investment

4. Monitor and change ads as needed! This is crucial to weed out ads that are duds or change ads that aren’t getting the hits that you think they should.

NOTE: Google does not allow multiple ads utilizing the same keywords for Merchant/Affiliate sites! If the Merchant you are an Affiliate for uses “scented soy candles” then you, as an Affiliate cannot use the same keyword phrase. You will have to come up with a creative keyword to use instead.

5. DO YOUR HOMEWORK 1ST! Research to find out how to get the most out of your keywords so that you get the most out of your advertising dollars! This way you don’t lose money with non-producing paid advertising
